The role of the Communications Team is to focus and guide the communications ministry of The United Methodist Church within the Holston Annual Conference. Key elements in this responsibility include:
- Development and guidance in the implementation of strategies for effective communication among annual conference agencies, districts, and local churches.
- Promotion and coordination of activities to enhance the awareness and reputation of the Church.
- Guidance in the interpretation of the conference budget and other benevolences
- Leadership in the use of new and emerging technologies as tools for ministry.
